Due to the occasion I did not take any pictures of the service itself,
but took a few of the evening (well early afternoon actually) with a few
drinks in the Sgt Mess.

1st May 2008 marked 20 years since 3 members (J M Reid,
A Kelly and J Baxter) of 1 Sqn RAF Regiment had been attacked in
terrorist action in Holland, both John Millar Reid and John Baxter were
killed (Andy Kelly seriously injured) when a car bomb placed underneath
their car exploded outside a night club in Holland.
To remember these Gunners, 1 Sqn RAF Regiment agreed
to hold a Service in memory of John and Millar
(Ian Shinner, (16 Sqn RAF Regt), Martin Bonnes (1 Sqn RAF
Regt, 22 SAS) also remembered by those who attended)
I would like to thank "Scouse" Conner, Flt Sgt
Jones (Jonah) and Warrant Officer John Gall for this event,
and all members of 1 Sqn for the display (and for one poor Gunner
who had to put up with all my questions) The food that was greatly
received, as was the evening in the Sgt's Mess.
